I've written so much about natural foods. That's my "magic pill". As much as I can, I try to eat non-processed whole grains, fruits, vegetables, eggs, nuts, seeds etc. I can't eat a lot of meat, but at times I'll have a little. So, I'm not a pure vegetarian. Whole grains are like wheat berries (natural wheat), flax seeds, oats, brown rice, and millet etc.
I don't eat any "fun" food or drink, such as cakes, cookies, ice cream, donuts, alcohol, and sodas etc. I've maintained my healthy weight this way for about 20 years. I don't count anything.
I started this natural way, in order to help my body heal of strange fibromyalgia muscle pains. It also provided me with an extra benefit that I don't have to worry about weight gain. Over the years, as I got better, I also was able to exercise. I'm always eating many times during the day and have no problems with being underweight or overweight.
If someone took this seriously, I can't imagine why it wouldn't work. It all depends on how much you want it and how much time you are willing to research this. Not only will eating better help you control this weight, but you should feel better all around as well.
