Scared- Please Reply Quick!

My first month of Birth Control was September. They started me on ortho-tricyclen lo. after a couple months I was getting sick of always spotting. So then I got prescribed to Ortho-Cyclen. I've been on it for two months. The first month was fine, very little spotting. However this month, (the second month) i started my period about a week-two weeks early. And it is just like my normal period would be. Is this normal? Please help!

It's normal for your cycle to be irregular when first starting any pill brand. Although you're not new to birth control, you're still new to this brand.

If the spotting continues into future cycles, let your prescriber know. You may require another combination of hormones.

I forgot to add some things. The breakthrough bleeding I was having happened right before my period. It was just like my normal period as I stated in the earlier reply. My question is if the breakthrough bleeding ended the day before my period is supposed to start, will I still start my regular period or will it just be skipped?

from my personal experiences, you will have all types of bleeding throughout your pill cycle. I spotted alsmot every day one month, extreamly light that was, other times i was heavier during my period. It takes a while for your body to adjust to the new hormone change. I give it 3 months before it gets close to normal. Everyone woman is different.
