Re: alcohol poisioning

It sounds like some kind of a sensitivity issue with alcohol itself.your auto problem could also be somewhat responsible as well.I do think the kidney thing would not be the culprit as people really do only actually need one and it does all the work just fine.I would see your doc about this, really.it does appear to be an almost allergic type of reaction the way you mentioned it and what actually takes place when you drink alcohol.
just what happened that left you with only one kidney?Or were you born this way?FB

So sorry about your child, really, that must have been devistating.I think you would really have to talk with your nephrologist or even just your primary doc about this reaction.there could be some connection to the kidneys as in it just does not tolerate the alcohol well or some other bizarre reason.anything else would just be a guess you know?I have polycystic kidney disease and my son has it too but he also ended up with some really bizarre mutated gene from it that actually caused him to go into full liver failure at age 13 and ended up with a new liver out of the deal.Hereditiy is just dandy isn't it?Good luck,Marcia
