amm8589 Junior Member (female) Join Date: Dec 2005 Posts: 47	How Long Does It Take For Meds to Lower Blood Pressure? DH has been on meds (prinivil, 10 mg) since last Thursday and his blood pressure is not much lower. How long does it take for the medication to start kicking in? His BP averages 150/120. amy
