Question valium vs klons vs loranzapam vs xanax

Has anyone had experience with 2 or more of these drugs? IF so did you feel any differance in how it helped you with your anxiety?

Which one did you find help you most in social situations like going out on a date or going to a social party or business party?? Please let me know your experiences! Thanks

Re: valium vs klons vs loranzapam vs xanax

Please remember that what was right for me might not be right for you and your reaction could be very different from mine.

I did try to take Kolnopin, but it was to much for me even at the smallest dose it made me feel like a zombie.
Xanax...at a very small dose was the only thing that ever helped me...didn't make me feel out of it or drunk or drugged or tired, it just made me feel normal again.

Hope that helps a little.

they are all valium type meds and much the same, it can take some experimenting to get the dose right
avoid alcahol as it makes the effect stronger

Re: valium vs klons vs loranzapam vs xanax

I started taking Ativan (lorazapam) for anxiety/panic resulting from an inner ear infection that left me dizzy. It literally gave me back my life. I took .5mg twice daily. This was equal to 10mg of Valium daily. The dizziness is gone (I think) so I have been tapering off the Ativan for 11 months. The withdrawal symptoms are the pits. I decided to go off of it because it was causing marked depression and brain fog. I also don't want to get into a position of "tolerance" where I would need to up my dose to get the same effects. This class of tranquilizers, benzodiazapines, are best if used for short periods of time, 2 weeks at best, or just on as as needed basis.

Actually...I don't suggest you take any of those. They are all habit forming and you might regret it later on. Do some research online about it before. I took xanax and it was habit forming. I think an antidepressant is a better choice and that too helps with social anxiety. I have social anxiety as well and it's not fun. Actually I hate it! Good Luck to ya.
