I need to know the harmful effects of hydrocodone gg syrup

I need to know from a legitamate person on this board who knows something about hydrocodone gg syrup and the harmful effects [all] it has on the body. I've been drinking about a tablespoon to 2 everyday for the past 2 months. Any response is greatly appreciated. Thanks.

One of the harmful effects is the more you take, the more you need as your body builds tolerance Why are you taking it? Is it for genuine health reasons?

The more you take the more apt you are to get addicted--one of THE most dangerous side effects.

CT, I need a little more info to answer your ?. First, is the a cough med, or just liquid hydocodone? What exactly does the bottle say? LisaC2

well, it is prescribed for cough. And it is liquid and on the bottle it says hydocodone. One of the things I know for sure is it slows my breathing down and I will build up a tolerance and may become dependent. I want to know more as far as what it does to the body or anything else. The bottle says hydrocodone gg syrup. It's generic for Vi-Tuss liquid. thanks for responses.
