Wink went to the eye doctor

Hello everone i took my son to the eye doctor today they said his vision was
20 30 is that good or bad>>>LOL anywazz i ask him about the touretts he said that from what he see he does not have that i need to stop worring but it is hard not to but he said that my son had some nearsighting but did not want to but him in glasses because the machines r always not correct .. B ut like i said he does not do the blinking all the time and when he dos do it .. he blinks rubs .
his eyes the eye doctor said he think it is a habit or it could be a nervous habit...... but i don't know i even ask my son doctor he said just to ignore it but it is sooooooo hard!!!!

First, let me say that an eye doctor can't dx tourette's. You need a neurologist for that.

Second, you do need to calm down. I can tell by the tone and frequency of your posts that you are very worried about this. He could be picking up on your anxiety and using it for attention, or doing it because you are making him nervous. You've had two doctors tell you to ignore it. You need to listen to them and see what happens.

Finally, even if it is Tourette's, it's not the end of the world. My son has transient tics, which is a mild form. His doctor told me that one in four boys show some signs of this. If they become severe, they can try medication. We put my son on tenex and it has helped tremendously, not just with the tics, but with other things as well. He always did OK in school, but now he's getting straight A's. The doctor thinks it's helped his focus. I agree.

I think you should take a deep breath and worry about something else for a while. If it goes away on it's own, great. If not, it can most likely be helped.

I know i do worry i know i need to stop thank you for being so forward i worry even when he was a infant .. i am like this any little symptom that i see i start to worry that he has something even my family tells i worry to much that have even said i get on there nerves sometimes..... i have not been this worry in a long time
