Question Zoloft+Klonopin+Perphenazine Grogginess!

Hi Everyone - Any help/suugestions appreciated.

I take zoloft - 150mg in the morning and in the evening take 1mg klonopin and 4mg perphenazine(around 9:30pm). I have been taking the zoloft and klonopin for a couple of years, the perphenazine for a couple of months.

The problem(s):
- extreme grogginess in the morning . . .literally feeling like I am trying to start my day right in the middle of a deep sleep cycle.

I take the klonopin because the zoloft interferes with my sleep - - "micro-wake-ups" throughout the night, jerkiness. The klonopin sometimes works, sometimes doesn't, but the grogginess is still there. I am always late for work. My boss is understanding, but I think she thinks that the problem will eventually straighten itself out. Doesn't seem to be happening. My Pdoc is good, but I don't feel he understands the extent of my grogginess.

Does anyone experience this morning grogginess? Any success stories with getting rid of it? Any suggestions? I am relatively happy with this drug combo with the exception of this problem.

Thanks a bunch.

Well, it's most likely eventually you might build a tolerance to the grogginess effects. But that may not be good either, because then you may not sleep at all. Some people eventually have to give up the drugs because of these types of problems. But never cold-turkey any psychiatric drug....

Good luck
