Switched meds and BURNING stomach

A week and a half ago I started taking prilosec in the am and aciphex in the pm (I was taking aciphex twice a day prior for about a month and a half) and I switched from allegra to clarinex. My stomach feels like it is on fire now. Is it more likely the prilosec or the clarinex causing the problem? I was starting to feel so much better and now this has me wanting to scream. I have LPR and this burning stomach is completely new to me. My ent told me not to take tums, rolaids, etc with ppi's and right now I wish I could eat a whole roll of them. Any comments will be greatly appreciated. Thanks! Lori

Re: Switched meds and BURNING stomach

I wonder if it might be from only taking Aciphex one time a day? or the combination of Aciphex and Prilosec just don't work well together. I had to increase Aciphex to 2x/day and stopped taking a pain medication and then the burning stopped. I take allegra with Aciphex and don't have a problem with the burning from that combination. It seems doubtful that Clarinex would cause your stomach to burn. I'm no expert but there's a few observations.
