Please Help!!

I am currently taking trivora and need to be switched its awful, i have never felt so miserable. I was thinking of asking my doctor about ortho tri cyclen and ortho tri cyclen lo. My insurance covers the lo version, but for the original version it only covers the generic (tri Sprintec). my question is has anyone tried either pill and was it good for acne or did it make it worse, thats a big concern for me because i am currently taking accutane to help with my acne and i dont want anything to make it worse. thanks!!!!!

Re: Please Help!!

I've used both OTC and OTC lo. OTC didn't cause any skin problems for me but I broke out really badly on OTC lo. I was also on accutane but I went on it after my experience with OTC lo.

Re: Please Help!!

I've been on OTC Lo for over a year and it works great for me. I didn't have any side-effects and my skin cleared up. I never had major troubles with my skin in the first place, but it's made it even clearer. I used to break out a lot before I'd get my period, now it hardly ever happens. Occasionally I'll get a pimple or two before my period, but they go away much quicker.

So I think you should try it. It might work for you also.
