I'm new and I need advice and help

I have just been diagnosed as "borderline" Addison's, I am hypothyroid, and in a lot of pain - anyone out there like me? I mostly hurt, but I do try to learn more. Thnky You for your time - I feel so alone and desperate.

What is "borderline Addison's"? It seems like you are either adrenal insufficient or you aren't. Are you on any steroid replacement? What is your dose? Do you have a competent endocrinologist? If not, you need to find one. I have never experienced pain as a result of my secondary Addison's, so I'm not sure what that is about. I hope you are feeling better soon.

Re: I'm new and I need advice and help

Hi I had my thyroid removed due to cancer in 2002. I have had pain in my muscles and joints since. My back always feels tired and beaten. I could hardly get up from a sitting position. I went to the doctor and he gave me a inflammation med and a muscle relaxer to help. Not all meds help. I had to work with my doctor to find what did. I think anything to do with your thyroid can cause your body to react with pain. Hope things get better. Ask your doctor about Lodine and Skelaxin. That is one combination that has helped me.
