Been to 2 docs now. Both said it could be Allergies.
Had sinus infection from a cold. Still stuffed up after months now. Nasal spray only helps slightly. Some facial pressure but no headaches, no runny nose, no itchy/watery eyes. Just ear feel blocked sometimes and congestion in nose can change sides and also depending on which side I'm sleeping on.
At best, sometimes I will get partial clearing of congestion.
Have they tried putting you back on anti-biotics? If you've been stuffed up for months, it's a good chance it's an infection...hope you start to feel better soon!
Thats what I keep telling my doctor but he said I have no infection. The 2nd doc said same thing. I asked for some tests like scan but they said don't need right now. Maybe they need to suffer a few months with sinus or allergy problems.
It CAN be allergies. I have horrible allergies, but I don't have an itchy nose, water eyess etc.. I just get really stuffed up and stay that way.
Have they given you any Rx antihistimines and decogestants? If they help you than it is allergies. If they don't help you then you might have sinus polyps. There is not infection, but the polyps cause sinus symptoms, and that would require an ENT to look at you.
