Wisdom tooth extraction still bleeding.

I had my wisdon teeth extracted today and one side is still bleeding slowly. The sheet says to wrap a teabag in gauze and put there every hour which I didn't read until after I fell asleep for 4 hours. The teabags feel huge and kinda uncomfortable. Is this all normal?
Also what did everyone eat? I am hungry and can't live on pudding. I would appreciate any ideas.
Also one side was impacted and the other was not I don't even have pain on the non impacted side. Should I still put compresses on that side? Thankyou for any help.

I had mine out last Saturday and still can't eat normal food and I am getting pretty darn hungry!
Your bleeding should stop within the first 24 hours and yes, do bite down on a teabag and see if that helps. If not, call your doctor. Make sure you take your pain meds, too. My first day wasn't too bad, but the next 2 were awful. Of course yours might be different!
I've been eating smoothies, pureed soups and pudding, but it just doesn't make you feel full. I can't wait to eat real food again!!!
