Aches from Accutane

I've had body aches since the beginning of taking Accutane. The derm has been changing different generic brands and strengths but I still get the aches. Even at a half dose (40 mg instead of a full 80 mg) my hips hurt from walking a normal pace for a half hour. I used to be able to do a combo of jogging and speed walking for a half hour and not be sore the next day. I do take Aleve when the pain gets bad, but I don't want to pick between constantly popping painkillers and being a couch potato for the next 4 months. Has anyone else experienced this?

Re: Aches from Accutane

I had that experience with antibiotics, like 4 years ago and my derm didn't believe me. I stopped taking them.

With accutane I never exercised (b/c of my experience with antibiotics) which made me gain some extra pounds but I never experienced pain. I would say cut the exercise alltogether and if the pain does not stop, I would quit.
