Flexoril for muscle tension and ear fullness

Has anyone taken flexoril for TMJ-related muscle tension? My TMJ doc apparently prescribes this as a muscle relaxant. Has this helped anyone?

I have ear fullness, subtle ringing and dizziness. Have seen all the ENTs and had all the inner ear tests - all normal. I believe my ear issues are related to habitual facial muscle tension in the masseters, pterygoids, sternocleidomastoids, and maybe others. I have been wearing an NTI for about 10 days now.

I also found it helpful but it made me groggy. Like Thelma-Louise, I cut it first into halves and then quarters. On a quarter of a 10-mg tablet, I could function. But I am only just right 100 pounds on a good day, so many times I end up taking the child's dose of medication. A bigger person might be able to tolerate more.
