Nuva Ring and the fridge

So I was doing some reading and found that you can have your nuva ring at room temperature up to four months. If you have more than three months worth you should put the rest in the fridge? Is this true? Do any of you guys put your Nuvarings in the fridge? I was never told this when i started them.

Yeah, i always stored mine in the fridge when i used to take it. I think it says on the package.
