Depression / pms symptoms

Is it possible to suffer from pms symptoms while still being on birth control? For example, i'm on seasonale right now and coming towards the end of the 3 month pack and i'm starting to get highly depressed. I'm not sure if i'm imagining things or not..does each pill contain the same amount of chemicals or does it slowly decrease til you're on the blanks?

Yes, it's possible to still experience PMS symptoms while using the pill. The pill contains hormones, and hormones are what causes the PMS.

Some pills contain varying levels of hormones, but Seasonale does not. Seasonale has the same amount of hormones in every pill.

Since this is your first full cycle on Seasonale, I'd suggest seeing what happens in the future before assuming that the pill is causing your depression. It could just be a coincidence. Either way, if you continue to have problems, consult your physician.
