Unhappy Digestive Disorder?

I have been getting very bad pains in my chest with a lot of gas feelings and burping. It is now making me nausious. I have been under stress and have been trying to eat a bland diet. My doctor has me trying Protonix but it doesn't seem to really been helping so far. I have only started taking 3 days ago. I also feel hungry all the time but when I eat I get a burning feeling and then the pain in my chest. I have also been taking Gas-X but only helps for a little while. This pain has been going n for about 8 weeks now and sometimes it really hurts and sometimes I can live with it. I know that I have a hiatal hernia from a past test. I am wondering if it could be just from anxiety and I would like to hear from anyone who has any suggestions or similar symptoms.
