Is this a good treatment for scars

Hello
My naturopath told me rose hip oil is good for healing scars for acne and burns etc.. Has anybody tried this product? and had success with it?, or is this just another product with empty promises?

I tried it for a few months. Didn't do anything except break me out. I have heard that helichrysum is good for scars.

I have been using rose hip seed oil on a small burn for the last 3-4 months. I think it has done nothing for it. Half of this $13-bottle is over rubbing it over my 2-inch long narrow burn scar, to no effect. Waste of time and money. There has been some fading, which would have happened anyway by the body's self-healing.
