empty stomach sensation

I have been having swallowing problems for a couple of years, and am now on 30mg lansoprazole which helps but doesnt eliminate the problem.Recently, i have started experiencing a feeling of emptiness in my stomach, the sort of feeling i used to get if i hadn't eaten for a long time...hunger pains if you like. They are not painful, but constant, even when i have eaten...my appetite is very healthy. Any ideas anyone?

The exact same thing has been happening to me- it feels as though I am constantly hungry all the time, including after I eat. Don't know what it is. Good luck to you! I have a dr's appt in about a month and will ask him about it then.

Just curious, what did the doctor say?
