Post Hello it's me again the newbie

I just thought of something I forgot to ask, in my last post. Has anyone been told that their gastric problems are due partly to emotions?.. such as anxiety or depression?... And is mucous more prevalent during these attacks of acid reflux?.. I have had heavy mucous all day, in my throat.

Regards,

I was just diagnosed with acid reflux a couple of days ago. My symptoms for the last 5 months have been, constant swallowing, tight feeling in throat and constant post nasal drip (mucous) No heartburn to speak of. The specialist asked me if It could be caused by stress, but I said I was only stressed by having the condition!! He said it can be a vicious cycle. I am on prilosec for 3 months hopefully it will clear up. I had a similar episode 15 years ago which cleared up quickly.
