Strange Belly Problem

Hi,

I am posting this for my wife, in the hope that someone may be able to help.

She does not really feel unwell as such and has no difficulty eating or with diarrhea or constipation, but for the last couple of months or so she has been describing strange feelings in her belly.

Sometimes she describes it as an empty feeling and at other times she describes it as a deep achy and hollow type of pain. She says that she feels it around and sometimes below her belly button area.

She is not pregnant, as she recently did a test to check for this. There are no specific times when she gets the pain or funny feeling and she can get it whether she has eaten or not. She does not have it all the time though.

Has anyone ever experienced this sort of thing before? If so please let me know, as I am at a loss as to know what to do to help her. I had thought of offering to massage her belly to see if it would help, but I really don't know?

The thing is that she is very strong and will not always tell me when she is not feeling well.

If anyone has any ideas then please let me know.
