What is Wrong???

I had an endoscopy last Friday - ever since then I have been hurting in stomach area mainly lower left and right sides. Went to my gyn yesterday she said my ovaries look ok no infection or cysts. Is it possible to get an infection from having the endoscopy, I know he also took some biopsies. I called my regular doctor today - and told him I had some Trimox (antibiotic) at home. He said to take it. I don't know what is wrong but I feel worse than ever. Most people don't have a problem when having this done. But I have had several things going on since Nov. and have had several tests done.

How long has you belly been hurting for?

Is the pain located just on the right and left hand side or all over your lower belly? Are you constipated or have you had diarrhea.?

It may be that it is not connected and that you just have a stomach virus. Getting one of these can make your belly extremely sore. You could have an inflammation also that is giving you pain and your doc was right to tell you to take the antibiotics.

If your belly does not improve do go back and see your doc. Any pain located on the right side of your tummy could also indicate your appendix, so do get it checked out with your doc.

Could just be an infection though and if you take the antibiotics you will feel better soon.
