Angry Bowel Movements For an Hour Every 2 Days

Hi,

Can anyone help and does anyone suffer from the same problem? Is this normal or not?

I am a normal fit and healthy guy in my early 30's, have a good diet and exercise regular and I have bowel movements every couple of days. I do not normally suffer with diarrhea and am not constipated at all. My stools are soft, normal colour and contain no blood or mucus.

However, for the last couple weeks, I have had to sit on the toilet for up to an hour to be able to finish my bowel movement. I will go sit on on the toilet and just push normally with no straining and it just seems like once I have started going, it won't stop coming out. Sometimes this problem is accompanied by bellyache, but not always.

Please, if there is anyone out there who has this kind of problem or similar and would care to share, or anyone who thinks they can help, I would be real grateful.

Also getting a sore butt from sitting on the toilet so long.

Cheers
