experiences with allegra

What is everyones experiences with Allegra. I just started it last night, and was up four or five times in the night going to the bathroom. It was like I drank a ton of water before I went to bed, but I didn't. My throat feels dryer than normal too. I can't tell if it is helping at all, but I guess I only had one dose.
I just want to see what other people have experienced on it.

Thanks

Re: experiences with allegra

are you taking allegra or allegra d. If it's the d that is a decongestant and could be causing your problems. I took allegra and it didn't do anything for me after 2 weeks so i stopped, i didn't feel or experience anything. I'm taking rhinocort nasal spray now for my hay fever and it really seems to be helping, way more than the allegra did. Plus, it just goes in your nose so there's virtually no side effects.

Re: experiences with allegra

it is just the regular 60mg allegra. Claritin does nothing for me and I heard Zyrtec causes weight gain and bad tiredness so I didn't want to try that, I hope something works soon, I can't take it anymore!!

Re: experiences with allegra

Allegra has worked well for me for many years. I took Allegra D for years and switched to just plain Allegra. I have not noticed any side effects yet.

Re: experiences with allegra

I took 30mg of reg Allegra the other night & I went to the BR about 6 times. It also makes me very sleepy but couldn't enjoy the sleep for getting up.
