New Member :-) Levora- 7 Day Peach Pills Question

Hello everyone. I am new to this site.

Anyways, I wanted to ask about Levora and the peach pills in the fourth week. I am confused about if I can get pregnant or not from them. My doctor never told me about them except that they can make me have a period. I have read the leaflet and even looked at websites on Levora about this topic but I cannot seem to find the answer I am looking for. I have been on Levora for about 5 months now and I have never missed a dose. My boyfriend and I have sex regularly and I just need to know about whether I am protected during the peach pills or not. We have had sex before when I was on the peach pill and I am still having regular periods with them.

Can anyone help me on this? Thanks

Kathy

Re: New Member :-) Levora- 7 Day Peach Pills Question

This is straight from the patient package insert for levora:

Reminder: If you forget any of the 7 peach "reminder" pills in Week 4: THROW AWAY the pills you missed. Keep taking 1 pill each day until the pack is empty. You do not need a back-up method.

The peach pills are just reminder pills. They do not contain any hormones. As long as you have taken the white pills in that pack correctly, you are protected from pregnancy during that week.
