My doctors have recently told me they think I have Parkinsons. I have lip tremors, particularly noticeable when my mouth is not closed. For the last 4 weeks i have been taking the generic for Sinemet. I believe it has reduced the tremors a little bit, but for the last 3 days at least 3 or 4 times each day I can feel the inside of my nose twitching. It doesn't last more than 5 seconds each time, so when I grab a mirror to see if it is obvious to others, it has already stopped. I have been able to see it, though, twice. The end of the nose never moves, but on each side of the bridge I can see the nose going "in and out". Could this be an effect of the drug? Or is it just another "tremor" which goes along with Parkinsons. I'm 72 so doubt seriously that it could be a "tic", but I can't find anything on tremors inside the nose. Any thoughts??
