I am not sure, but if you have not heard back from them with the phone call, what I would do is look back at the original paper work you filled out, and write a letter to the contact person, keep a copy and send a certified letter to them return receipt requested, this way at least you could show that you attempted to contact them. I might also in your letter tell them that you had called them and put the date and time of the call.

I have a file, of all phone calls with times, name of persons I have talked to, any contact or papers I filled out with them I made copies of, this way there is no way they can say, they didnt get the info, and I also have a record of all info they have from me.

Again, this is only what I would do, and also how I handled any contact with them in the past.

Hope this gives you a few ideas and good luck to you, I am waiting for "the letter" after 2 over two years of being denied and such. My lawyer after reviewing my case initially said I had a 90% chance of winning, after I saw the judge he said he upped it to 98%.

Also don't give up the process, they will try to beat you down with paper work and also denials, that is part of the process, so people will get discouraged and give up. I found that the paper work and the time frames were just impossible for me to do, so I called the contact person and told her I needed an additional 2 weeks, and also sent them notification by mail. They actually had to grant the time I needed due to why I was applying.

I wish you the best of luck in your plight, c-22
