Post birth control and diet pills

Does anyone know if diet pills (ie, dexatrim, metabolife) will interfere with the effectiveness of the pill? I'm just curious, b/c I know antibiotics can interefere, and I don't want to take any chances.

Thanks!

There has been recent research that indicates that St John's Wort can decrease the effectiveness off the Pill. Other herbs included within diet remedies may also have the same conclusion. Check with your OB/GYN for further details. Blood pressure rising and other complications could occur from mixing the two substances. Good luck.
