just because the dr doesn't see anything in the ears and feels there is no ear infection, this could still be caused by the most inner ear, which the dr can not see.
there is a nerve that runs thur the most inner ear, and when disturbed or inflammed, can cause vertigo, vestibular neuronitius to name a few. there is a med that he can take to help with the dizziness, but nothing really they can do as it has to run it's course. i had this happen to me and it lasted 3 months. not fun at all to feel off kilter that long.
also, the fatigue, along with the dizziness, i would get a lyme disease test. just to be sure. i have also suffered with lyme for many years and now have cfs after a year on antibiotics.
he really should get a good checkup, get a lyme test done and see an
ENT dr, not just the regular dr. he needs to see the ear, nose and throat dr.
good luck and please keep us posted on how he is doing.
