Post I need guidance for a beginner - researching Bi-Polar

I've let almost a year go by since I was diagnosed - in and out of denial. I need to find the simplest way to begin my research...if it's too much information at once, I become overwhelmed and give up.

Does anyone have any advice that would put me on the right track....please, start with the VERY basics!

With Kindness,
Bev

Dear Bev,

I think it's OK to post these links, as they're unbiased:

How about the National Institute of Mental Health? Here's their pamphlet on BP.

Or I like Web MD's articles too...

I hope this isn't too overwhelming. Good luck & Congratulations on beginning your research!

Thanks Star,

I don't know why I have been dreading this for so long. Maybe, partly because I don't want to believe it. I think "if" I might be right...that I was mis-diagnosed, this could put my mind at rest. If I'm wrong, then I need to know as much as possible to enable myself.

I really do appreciate your help.

With Kindness,
Bev
