acne around mouth

I have what appears to be acne all around my mouth (above and to the sides of the the upper lip). It simply wont go away. Is there any type of cleanser that people recommend to wash my face so that this problem goes away?

Use a cleanser with salicylic acid or glycolic acid. Acne around the mouth is usually hormonal. If you are female, you could consider taking a birth control pill.

I have had several bouts lately.BUT until i went to doctor he asked does my mouth often crack in corners of my mouth? Well rite aide has a cream called Lysine. Lysine is a vitamin that alot of folks dont know they lack until they get blisters or cracked lips.try it let me know

Question for trouble3906, I get acne around my lips and yes, my lips do crack on the corners but thats usually after I eat salty chips or crackers and its rubbed on the edges of my mouth. Did you doctor tell you how often to use this cream? And is it supposed to be applied for the purpose of getting rid of acne around the mouth or the purpose of the cracking lips? Thanks

He told me to use it if it burns,or felt irritated, that it doesnt hurt to use it .kind of like a vitamin.let me know if it helps.
