Cozaar pain

I've been taking Cozaar & lately have been getting pain in my back where my kidney is. I don't see anything in the info except if you have diabetes which I don't or a bad heart which I don't. Has anyone else heard of this? Gonna call the Dr tommorrow but he's going away I think.

Re: Cozaar pain

The only possible link I can think of is that Cozaar is a weak uricosuric...casues expulsion of extra uric acid in the urine. IF you have a tendency to form urate kidney stones, the situation might be made worse. But I think the chances of this being the cause of your pain is slight.
Most likely there is no connection with the Cozaar.

If it goes on, perhaps an echogram of your kidneys is a good idea to check for stones, urate or otherwise.
