Hey, Ive been on Lexapro 20mg for about a mth now and i feel a lot better ...Just a question for those that have been on lexapro how long did you take it and when you stopped lexapro have you been ok...
Yes 20 is very strong but i have physical symptions of anxiety baaaad!!!
Hey Sarah, I've been on Lexapro for only 6 weeks and I guess it helps some. It stopped me from self-medication myself with alcohol. I also take 20mg a day.
I am going to talk to my Dr. today about going from 10mg to 20mg. I was on 40mg of Celexa and it worked great for me. I think 40mg of Celexa is equal to 20mg of lexapro. I am on 10mg and it has helped a little but I do not feel great and anxiety is still there.
I have been on 10 mg of Lexapro for about a month now. I feel a tiny bit better - but the stress and anxiety is still there - I still take Clonazepam when I get really anxious to help me calm down. Maybe I should ask about increasing the dosage of Lexapro. I don't like feeling this anxious all of the time and I clench my teeth so tightly that my jaw hurts. I just don't know how to relax. Any suggestions would be appreciated.
i also have been on lexapro 10 mg for a month helped anxiety and depression some but i also still feel a little anxiety dr said takes 6 weeks to work i feel zoned out on it though and sleepy (i take it at night) does anyone else. i am almost scared to increase even though i think i may need to
