I'm trying again, Can I come back?

Ok I am going to give another try! I have been on here many times and many attempts! I was taking hyrdo about 7-9 (500 mgs) a day. I am so ready for it to be over, Actually I have been ready. I am trying something different this time though and I am using ultracete. I know all the dangers and I don't have access to these, but I have to function at work so I need something to help me. I think they are helping although my heart is still pounding and all that. After my forth day I won't take any, which takes me up to the weekend.
Well everyone pray for me and if anyone else is on day 1 please let me know.

I usually feel better after the 3-4 day also, but it has been a long time like 1.5 years since I have been without that long! I am just going to try and be tough and all. Ok everyone give me all the advice you can

Well if once you dont succeed try again. That all you can do it keep trying an one of this times it will work. Of course your welcome back. Stay strong and if you think this will work then try it. What do you have to loose at this point. So keep it up stay strong stay determined and you can do it. Kim

I wish you the best kicking this thing once and for all.

I don't advocate doing this, but I did exactly as you're wanting to do and it worked for me. Of course I'm not out of the woods. I'm 8 days clean. Anytime I'd run out and go through w/d I always had my trusty Ultracet. I never felt any addiction toward it. It would help me not go through total w/d, but I'd still feel kinda crappy. After I reached the 4 day hump, I couldn't get my refill for Ultracet and was prepared for the worse. Nothing happened. I haven't had any in several days.

Of course I'm only 8 days clean of Hydro and still feel some cravings and that bobblehead feeling and my back pain (the reason for the hydro's in the first place). But I say if you have no addictive feelings toward Ultracet, try it. It helped me alot. If you do feel yourself addicted to Ultracet, then it'll just be substituting one drug for another.

Good luck, let me know what happens! We're here for you. You sound like you really want to quit. Keep remembering that. Think of the worst thing you hate about taking Lortabs, the worst side effect and think of how you'll be rid of that. I'm here anytime, ok?
