Re: paleness

Hi yawnstickle,

Sorry you're feeling down about your skin. Is the paleness even on your face?
Uneven pigmentation can indicate certain skin conditions but I don't think that is what you're describing.

I know stress, anxiety can cause skin to go either way either get really hot and red on the face, others get drained of colour so it is a possibility if you're under a lot of stress it could be making you look paler. Are you getting all your vits and mins in your diet? You may not be anaemic, but if you do feel lethargic and tired Bvitamins might be a good idea. Are you getting out much, exercising etc? I don't mean to sound irritating but when we're down sometimes we don't do these things. Exercise can help boost the circulation. I know I tend to get slight Raynauds symptoms in the colder weather the tips of my fingers and toes can go numb and white.

If your skin isn't sensitive, you could try getting an exfoliator for the face too, this will help the circulation and get rid of the dead layer of cells that might give your complexion a dull look.

Do others think you look odd? Or are you just aware of it?

Take care,
M.B.x
