Need some input

I'll try to shorten the saga. I have Migraine with Aura and got into a team in Sept. New regimen of Topomax, Zomig, Reglan and Magnesium with OT, PT, Biofeedback and pain Psych. Cut out caffiene and Trazadone for sleep and stop Birth control pills containing estrogen. Oct. 3rd recieved Mirena IUD as well as a Z pack for bronchitis. Mid Oct. started having excruciating knee pain to where I have to keep them straight and can't bend to get on the floor to play with my 3.5 year old daughter. I am 32 years old and female, obviously . Gained weight on the IUD and was extremely fatigued. With the knee pain and the fatigue I decided to have the IUD removed. That was done Nov. 1st. Blood work was done and I got that back yesterday.

Rheumatoid Arthritis Factor came back Neg
Sed. Rate = 1 (high indicates inflamation so no inflamation)
CBC indicated slightly high WBC (white blood cell count) of 13.2 with norms of 3.8 - 11.0 and a repeat yesterday was 12.7
FANA = pending

I still have extreme pain in my knees and have an appt. with my GP tomorrow since it was my OB/GYN that ordered all the tests. I'm thinking of infection so trying an antibiotic and maybe steriods if they can be taken with my migraine meds as a first line. After that I have no idea what to do.

Any ideas what is going on with this? Anyone have any comparable stories? I'd like to have some ideas to bounce off the doctor. I've ruled out Salmonella. Right now the only things on the table in my mind are infection and possible Psoriatic Arthritis so I'd love to hear some other possiblities.

Thanks.
Nikki

Re: Need some input

Well, RA was my first thought, but that's been ruled out. Have you been tested for Lyme disease?

Re: Need some input

Hmmm was thinking of Lupus so had to edit. I'm not the outdoorsy type and live in MN so Tick season is pretty much done. I was also on Zithromax in Oct. Am allergic to Pen. Will mention it to the doc though. Thanks!

Making a list, checking it twice
