I have had it since my GERD/LPR problems started and can't get rid of it no matter what drugs I take or anything. Anyone have this and what has been a solution for yours to stop?
That is one of the hallmark's of GERD. I had it in the beginning about fifteen years ago, had it for a couple of years, no longer an issue for me. It is called Water Brash.
Waterbrash
Vagally mediated excessive salivation that results from esophageal acidification during reflux.
I've had mine for over 4 years with it not being so bad. I can actually swallow it but I have to swallow a lot and my jaw is worn down, and my face hurts like crap.
I have a lump in my throat and have post nasal drip or so it feels like I do.
All of this started for me when I was 6 weeks pg with my 4 year old son. I got heartburn so bad one day than all of the sudden i felt this major hypersalivation and i was spitting out of control. Needless to say it lasted the entire pg and my OBGYN did everything she could do to help it stop. I took nausea, heartburn, and other stomach meds but it was awful and got worse throughout the pg.
After I gave birth within 2 weeks the saliva had slowed down but has stayed the same since and never went back to normal.
I have sharp pains in my upper stomach, feeling like like vomiting, water pours out of my mouth but I never vomit. The pain gradually eases and then my stomach feels sore. Is this GERD? Stress?
