Re: Read This!

Hmmm you sound kinda like me. What meds. do you take? Did the derm. prescribe you any topicals or anything? I use Differin and Klaron for topicals and I take Yasmin for birth control. I have changed my diet before and it doesn't seem to help my skin but I feel great when I eat healthy. Let me know what you have tried and maybe we can help each other.

Re: Read This!

Yeah I don't know if Yasmin helps alot. It has helped me somewhat but I still break out. I have been considering Accutane too but I don't think my acne is bad enough to where I can get it. I have heard alot of good things about Spironolactone (sp?). I have heard it really decreases the oil which then decreases the acne. But I just don't want to take any more pills!

Re: Read This!

2 things that work great for the problems I have (sound similar to yours) are:

1.Clean and Clear Blackhead Scrub (don't know if that's the real name, but they only make one blackhead scrub so you'll find it....it works better for me than Neutrogena).
2. Biore Triple Action Astringent

Been using this combo for a short time and it's really helping. The astringent is getting the oil cut way, way down and the scrub is clearing up the blackheads.

With blackheads, try to exfoliate.

Also, use a lotion that is oil free on your face.
