Post Any one take clonipin for seizures

My son has been taking phenobarb for his seizures but it is making his ADHA worse. I would like to know if any one is taking clonipin.

Re: Any one take clonipin for seizures

Until my recent pregnancy, I had been taking clonipin for seizures for at least 5 years. I didn't have any severe side effects, and it worked well with my other seizure medications (carbatrol and neurontin) to cut down on the number of seizures I was having. In fact, I had been seizure-free for several months, although since I had to quit taking it I have had some tiny ones.

Re: Any one take clonipin for seizures

I took Klonopin for about 2 years. I hated it!!! I was tired all the time, it affected my speech and my memory plus it was a bugger to wean off.

It is very addicting!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!! The doctors at UCLA absolutley hate the drug. Please do not put your son on it if you do not have to.
