dysmenorrhea

hello to everyone HAPPY NEW YEAR!!!!

every month when i have my period i have this abdominal pain / dysmenorrhea especially during my 1st day sometime i cannot get out of my bed, i cannot sleep i feel so much pain and also i vomit when the pain is too much...

is there any remedy for this dysmenorrhea or i should take medicine ? IS it harmful if Iam always taking this pain reliever ?

You may want to get tested for polyps, fibroids and cysts, because all of those things can cause severe cramps during a period. My sister just had a surgery in October to remove a ton of polyps from her uterus that were causing her a lot of pain during her period, as well as a ton of bleeding. Anytime you have excessive bleeding in conjunction with extreme cramps, you should get tested for those potential problems.

A saline ultrasound test is the best way to diagnose this. I know that my sister was in really severe pain before she had her polyps removed. But since she had them removed, she says her pain is a lot more manageable during her periods.

It's worth it to check it out. It could make a huge difference for you, if you have that stuff removed.

thanks for the advice....

by the way Im only 24 is that common with this age of mine? I never consult a doctor before regarding this matter but after reading your reply I MUST see one as soon as possible...

wat if i have this polyp etc still do I have a chance to have a baby? iAM WORRIED because Im getting married this year....

how old is your sister?
