Difference in Aceon and Capoten

I have taken 5mg of Norvasc a day for 8 years. I have been studying the Ace inhibitor cominations with Norvasc. Would Capoten work with Norvasc about the same as Aceon with Norvasc?
Thanks

Re: Difference in Aceon and Capoten

I think the Aceon (perindopril) and the Capoten (captopril) would work about the same.

Watch the pricing:
Aceon...about $1.50/tablet
Capoten...$3.50 per tablet
captopril...$.25 per tablet.

My choice would be easy
