Re: Tylenon PM?

The "PM" in Tylenol PM is diphenhydramine, also known as Benedryl. If the only problem you have is the sleep issue, without pain, you'd be better off taking Benedryl (or generic, shich is available OTC at any pharmacy). If you are on other antihistamines (like Claritin, Zyrtec, etc.) for allergies, check with the doctor or pharmacist first.

It can dry you out, so make sure you drink a lot of water.

I've found that it works OK for short-term sleep aid, you'd have to try for yourself and see if it works for you.

Good luck!

Re: Tylenon PM?

Naw, not taking any other drugs.

I work nights (like night nights 12midnight to early morning) and I find I cant sleep during the day (unless really really tired) So if I'm working few days in a row, you can see how that would be a problem.

Re: Tylenon PM?

What have you heard? Have you researched it to substantiate?

The most common side effects are the ones that make it desirable as a sleep aid, i.e., drowsiness. If there are others, let me know and I shall try to get an answer for you.
