Hi just want to know what you guys do when that horrible asthma like feeling accurs on u? and when you feel like your choking and out of breath? we can't just everytime rush to the ER right? Im so tired of all of these swear
I have the same problem...it puts me into anxiety attacks and i just cant seem to find relief from it.
Everyday I have a feeling like I can't breathe, terrible! I also have vocal cord dysfuntion, you may want to look into that.
Do any of you ever get pressure in your face, sinus or jaw area. This makes me crazy. I hate the feeling that I am going to choke and cannot breath. Sometimes I can burp, and that does help a little.. I hate this whole thing!
Have you tried an anti-histamine?
I found taking a short term anti-histamine does wonder on my shortness of breath. Seems to work within minutes
Only use a 4 hour one..you don't need a 24 hour dose.
That feeling is the scariest...you keep the phone close in case you have to dial 911...I know.
The first time it happend to me I thought I was having a heart attack!

Yes I've gotten pain in my jaw..in my ear...it's awful!
And it is related to GERD
Yes I have experienced the asthma symptoms, but unfortunatly after trying everything the problem didn't go away. I am now on zyrtec (allergies), singulari(allergies/asthma) and an albuterol inhaler. Yeah acid reflux is such an evil disorder. I cant stand it either! I get shortness of breath, numb limbs, pain in the chest, and sometimes my throat and neck get swollen. Hope you feel better though and take care of your acid reflux....its not fun when it gets out of hand.
