allergic to everything...haha

if its out there, im probably allergic to it. my newest found allergy is adhesives, like on bandaids. so my question is, should i get a medical alert bracelet? my allergies include but are not limited to: dogs, cats, clams, crabs, bacitracum, adhesives, down, dust, pollen, grass, smoke, mold, and lots more...

i take singulair, zyrtec, advair, patanol and maxair to control the symptoms of the seasonal allergies and asthma. im just concerned about having an allergic reaction to something and not being able to express that thats what is going on!

any idea what the med. alert bracelet should say if i do get one...if i put all my allergies on there it will be a med. alert coat of armor

Not sure why you'd want one with all that on there. You would need only to list those that cause anaphalaxis. I am allergic to everything they test for on the scratch test. However, when I wore a med alert bracelet some years ago the only thing I listed was my penicillin allergy. I quit wearing it because it was ugly...and I asked my doc whether I should replace it. He said they don't use penicillin much in emergency type cases as so many people are allergic to it. So, I think I'm OK without it.

I guess I would agree with the others, just put the severe allergies on it.

I was actually just talking about this to someone recently. Im severly allergic to iodine, and thats what they prep you for in emergancy surgery!
