My question is has anyone tried homeopathic medicines or herbal treatments for neuropathy, diabetes, or gastroparesis with success? Thanks in advance for any advice given.
My husband lowered his glucose 50 points in 2 days with 2 DBcare pills. They are guaranteed to do that within 30 days!! The main ingredient is BITTER MELON and so I bought a bottle of that also (for 1/10th the price). Bitter melon grows in the tropics and looks like a cucumber and in India they've used it for hundreds of years for diabetes. I take one a day myself, although I 'm healthy, just because we were so impressed with it !!
My philosophy is: if meds arent' working , you'll get side effects from them.
Bitter melon has no side effects. God Bless.

Talking Re: Help for Diabetic Neuropathy?

my husband's glucose was 106 this morning. He is still on 3 DBcare a day,
one fenugreek, one bitter melon, one actos and an amaryl. On the amaryl and actos alone they said he had to go on insulin. His readngs were in the 200's. thats when I found the DBcare that lowered the readings 50 pts in 2 days. I know, it's difficult to believe but it happened. I don't think his diabetes specialist believes it either. He just got a new meter also. Since it was 95 yesterday morning it's actually elevated. But it is dangerous , at best, to take insulin and actos at the same time. She said if his glucose is 95-125 he doesn't need insulin.
So she had to change her mind within about ten days He has had other wonderful effects from the bitter melon besides just the glucose reading. But, then, he also gave up soda. To which he was addicted for decades and I feel contributed, if not outright caused, his diabetes. Now he drinks water and lemon instead. Only now do I see how terrible all that soda pop was to his urinary system.

Re: Help for Diabetic Neuropathy?

I know this is an older post, but I wanted to throw my two cents in. I've had Type 1 diabetes for 31 years and it's always been in very bad control-going from 300 and higher, down to the 30's. Anyway, to make a long story short, I've had extremely good results from Cinnamon! I've taken the Bitter Melon, and loved it, but it's a little more pricey where I buy it. The cinnamon capsules are not only cheaper (I buy mine at Walmart....I take 2 500mg capsules in the morning and at night), but if I don't have the money, I get the same results by using the regular cinnamon spice-I just put some a good amount on some toast. My doctor cannot believe the difference in my levels! But all the other herbs mentioned work wonderfully as well! Also, for neuropathy, I've had very good results from Alpha Lipoic Acid, although it takes a month or more to really notice a difference, and you need fairly high dosages too.
