Question about Allegra-D...

Is there a link between allegra-d and short term-memory loss and concentration problems?

I ask because I've noticed some of these side effects ever since I started using it? If so, are all anti histamines the same--will a different one most likely have the same effect? (I'm guessing they are...)

Thanks, I would appreciate any input...

Re: Question about Allegra-D...

I have taken Allegra-D for years now and have never noticed a short term memory loss. but, all people is not the same. Medicines can work different for some people. have you called to ask your Doctor about this? If not, then I would give them a call and see what they think.

Good Luck

Re: Question about Allegra-D...

I've never heard of this side effect, but antihistamines are slightly different, so it might be worth your while to try a different one.

Re: side effects of allegra d

I take Allegra 180 with no problems.. it's possible that your side effects are from the "D" portion (pseudophedryne). It makes me jittery and I have a hard time concentrating after I take that drug.. that's why I take regular Allegra. You may want to switch to see if your side effects clear up.. then if they don't you'll know it's the Allegra itself.
