dry skin from topicals

I read in another thread that someone was suggesting hydrocortisone cream to help dry skin. My topicals are both helping and hurting my skin. I'm begining to clear up, but my skin is always flaky dry.
Is hydrocortisone really good to use? Does anyone have any other suggestions?

Thanks!

Re: dry skin from topicals

Lotions and moisturizers from health stores are really good. I use a natural lotion that works great.
