Yasmin - question about spotting

Hi there,

I'm on my third pack of Yasmin, took it about 4 hours late a week ago. I have been spotting since then. For the last 3 nights I have had menstrual-like cramps, only at night, and the spotting starts up then until about noon the next day.

I have taken the pill every day and was 4 hours late only 1 day. Is this normal? Anyone else with this type of experience?

Thanks

Well ..are you a new user to BC? Because if you say you are on your third pack you also mean your third month..and i know during that time if you are a new user to BC (or in some cases even if your not) you can experience breakthrough bleeding of some sort. I know when i started ortho Lo i had this same experience around the 3rd and 4th pack and i had spotted the whole month up until i was ready to start my period. It was outta wack! But by the end of those months it started to get better and hardly no bleeding..And i also had weird cramps too..but i was never really late taking mine..but 4 hours wouldn't really matter it could just be a coincidence. im sure thats what this is. If you havent had sex dont worry.
