Muro Drops and Ointment. Help Please

I have a condition called Fuchs’ Endothelial Dystrophy . The specialist presricbed Muro Drops 5% and ointment at night. I seem to think Im not properly putting the ointment in at night. I wake up and my eye lashes are all gunked up and crusty. I really dont see a difference upon waking. I can say that the drops burn, but seem to be working. Wondering if anyone has good experience with this type of condition or tips for using these meds.Next month I go for a corneal cell count to see how far this has progressed. Transplants are in my future, but I think with the right meds it could be put off for a couple of years. Im only a young 41. LOL. Thanks for all your help ~ Deb ~
